We respect your privacy. This Policy explains what data we collect when you use our website, what we do with it, and your rights under the EU GDPR and Dutch UAVG.

WHAT WE COLLECT
When you contact us or subscribe to our newsletter: your name, email, phone (optional), and the content of your message.
When you visit the site: technical data like IP address, browser, device, pages visited, and cookies (see below). Most of this is collected by Shopify to run and secure the site.
We don't collect payment data, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
HOW WE USE IT
To reply to enquiries, send newsletters if you've signed up, keep the site secure, understand general traffic, and meet legal obligations (like tax records). We do not sell your data.
Legal basis (GDPR): your consent (forms, newsletter, non-essential cookies), our legitimate interest (security, basic analytics), legal obligations, and pre-contractual steps when you contact us.
WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
We share data only with service providers we need to run our business:
- Shopify — website hosting. (shopify.com/legal/privacy)
- Google Analytics & Google Fonts — to understand traffic and display typography. We anonymize IPs where possible. Opt out: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
- Google Ads / Meta Pixel — only if active and only after you accept marketing cookies — for ad measurement and retargeting.
- Email/newsletter tools (e.g. Gmail, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Shopify Email) — to communicate with you.
- Authorities — when legally required.
Some of these providers (Shopify, Google, Meta) process data outside the EU; we rely on standard GDPR safeguards like EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework for those transfers.
COOKIES
We use four types: strictly necessary (always on, to make the site work), functional, analytics, and marketing. Only the first are active by default; the rest require your consent.
When you arrive, a cookie banner lets you accept, reject, or customize categories. You can change your choices anytime via the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer.
YOUR RIGHTS
Under GDPR, you can:
- Access your data and request a copy
- Correct or delete it
- Restrict or object to processing
- Receive it in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time
